Week of 8/15 - 8/19

Monday

• Google sign into students accounts.  Demonstrate the use of Google drive and Google Docs.  Students sign into Classroom.   
• Homework: Students will turn an assignment into classroom.

Tuesday

• Magazine Project.  We will discuss the project and each students responsibilities. Important dates will be discussed.   Students need to think  and plan their magazine.
• Homework: Students need yo think about and begin planning their magazine.

Wednesday

• Lecture Chapter 1-1   (Chapter 1- Section 1)
• Homework: Vocabulary and Key Concepts for chapter 1 page 30.  Students are to do this assignment in Cornell Note format.  They will copy the 7 key concepts on the right side of the page and write a question for each key concept on the left side of the page.  They will then define the 23 vocabulary words.  They will write the vocabulary word on the left side of the page and the definition on the right side of the page.  Students should number the kep concepts 1 - 7 and the vocabulary 8 - 23.

Thursday

• Lecture chapter 1-2 (Chapter 1- Section 2).  
• Homework: Complete Reading Guide Chapter 1-1.    

Friday

• Save Sammy Lab.  
• Homework: Complete Lab Write up for the lab.
