Monday
- Lecture Chapter 1-1 (Chapter 1- Section 1)
- Homework: Vocabulary and Key Concepts for chapter 1 page 30. Students are to do this assignment in Cornell Note format. They will copy the 7 key concepts on the right side of the page and write a question for each key concept on the left side of the page. They will then define the 23 vocabulary words. They will write the vocabulary word on the left side of the page and the definition on the right side of the page. Students should number the kep concepts 1 - 7 and the vocabulary 8 - 23.
Tuesday
- Lecture chapter 1-2 (Chapter 1- Section 2).
- Homework: Complete Study Guide Chapter 1-1.
Wednesday
- Lecture Chpater 1-3
- Homework: Complete Study Guide Chapter 1-2.
Thursday
- Check Lab. Students will play the role of Forenic Scientist and learn to form hypothesis.
- Homework: Complete Study Guide Chapter 1-3.
Friday
- Students will continue with the Check Lab and draw their final hypothesis. Students will turn in the Lab at the end of the period.
- Homework: Complete Study Guide Chapter 1-4.
